| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The Nav-Mat is the most convenient mounting accessory for your portable GPS today. Using the physics of weight distribution along with high tech anti-skid materials, it creates a solid mounting base while turning your windshield mounted GPS into a dash mounted GPS.The Nav-Mat conforms to the contours of your dashboard, allowing it to work on uneven or textured surfaces while the anti-skid underside keeps the device from sliding. Designed to work with devices up to several pounds using the windshield suction mount sold with most popular GPS units, the Nav-Mat requires no tools for installation and can easily be moved from vehicle to vehicle or put out of sight when exiting the vehicle. Also works well with other Bracketron Windshield Mounts for mounting devices such as Satellite Radio, Cell Phones and MP3 Players.

Incompatible with widescreen TomTom January 9, 2009 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Although this item is said to be compatible with the Tom Tom, my widescreen Tom Tom XL 330-S sits too low to clear the rim and therefore cannot be attached to this mount.
Hide traces of your GPS January 8, 2009 Someone broke into my friend's car, stole his GPS, and left behind a broken window for him to repair. Everyone should get a removable dash pad. Even if you hide your GPS, your permanent dash pad tells the world a GPS might be hiding in your car. The Bracketron dash pad is somewhat large though. If you have a tiny GPS, you might consider buying a smaller dash pad.
GPS dash pad January 7, 2009 This does what it is suppose to do, no slipping around and way easier than than trying to stick it on your angled windshield, comes with a round flat plastic in the middle to mount the GPS.
always shop around! January 7, 2009 i was in the market for an item like this and spent hours trying to find the best price. these same mounts sell in stores for upwards of $30 and i was able to snag one from Electronic Express for half that price, including shipping!! no muss no fuss, just stick your gps suction mount to this and off you go. not a negative, but the car charger cord can cramp a bit while mounted, just be mindful not to overstress the cord or connection. not the fault of the mount, more the height of the suction mount included with the Nuvi 205w unit.
Very disappointed. January 7, 2009 I thought this dash pad would be wonderful instead of using the window mount for my GPS. I was so disappointed with this item! The suction cup for the GPS would not stay on the pad. Within 5 minutes it popped right off. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
