Unbelievable but it works! January 9, 2009
Despite some reluctance to try this product, after expereincing having to wait long time periods for a bottle of red wine to open and breathe, I decided to try this product. The immediate difference in taste and aroma of the wine was amazing. It brought out the full bouquet and taste immediately. I compared this with less expensive bottles, more expensive ones, one that had been opened the day before and some that were decanted the normal way for an hour and it made all the wines much better without the long decanting wait.
I bought eight more for family and friends and we will start taking one to restaurants with us for better tasting wine.

Just a great item, it really turns older or greener wines and aerates them and gives it 4 years with just one pour. I highly recommend this. Most good wines don't need it, but if you have a wine that's a little stuffy or green, this is great!

Ok...so I am not a seasoned wine drinker...in fact I hated red wine and never tried it until someone forced me to go to a wine tasting and learn about it. Voila....my thought changed overnight and now I have dropped the hard alcohol and moved to red-wine.
I have been experimenting with different wines on a regular basis and trying to figure out the subtle differences that exist between the different regions, grapes, etc.... It has been a hard thing for me to find differences in bouquet's, tastes, etc....
Someone recommended a Vinturi....so I figured why not.
I got the device and immediately opened a bottle of Merlot from Italy. Taste test time. I poured 4 half glasses in my new Riedel's.... 2 had un-aerated wine and 2 had wine poured through the Vinturi. I had my wife try a glass of unaerated and then I did the same. WE then went to the Vinturi'd wine..... IMMEDIATELY - the first words out of my wife's mouth....I CAN SMELL THE DIFFERENCE. Taste of course was 2nd and it was remarkably different. I had the same exact results.
I would recommend this product for the novice and the advanced user...

I was a little skeptical that this would actually work but it does! It enhances the taste of wine and makes it smoother and easier to drink. I bought it as a gift and will probably stock up on a few more to give to the other wine buffs I know.

I love this gadget. It is easy to use and it really works to open up a newly uncorked bottle. Since I am often the only one drinking in my household, I don't like to decant a bottle because it takes a couple of days to finish. The Vinturi lets me decant a glass at a time!
